Jiangsu Province
Jiangsu Province is located along the central east coast of China, with a coastline of over 1000 kilometers along the Yellow Sea. The Province borders Shandong to the north, Anhui to the west, and Zhejiang and Shanghai to the south. China?s largest river, the Yangtze River, divides the Province on its flow to the East China Sea. The historic Beijing - Hangzhou Grand Cannel cuts through Jiangsu from north to south, traversing all the east-west river systems.
Jiangsu Province is divided into 13 prefecture-level divisions, and each division is named after its prefecture-level city. The 13 prefecture-level divisions of Jiangsu are subdivided into 106 county-level divisions (54 districts, 27 county-level cities, and 25 counties). Those, in turn, are divided into 1518 township-level divisions.
